History: Designed and built by the Ohlson Brothers in Guthenberg Sweden to compete with the legendary S Concordia racing yawls, these craft are well respected for their excellent construction and sailing qualities. Corsair is constructed of African Mahogany planking on steam bent white oak frames, oak structural keel, backbone and floor timbers; yellow pine deadwood, copper rivets and bronze screws. The rare yawl rig is distinctive and well balanced. Corsair is based at Hobson’s Bay Yacht Club and races socially as often as commitments permit.
