History:  Pagan the second of three Tasman Seabirds built at the slipway of full length hoop pine screwed & splined to spotted gum frames in 1962 for Nick Lockyer to win the Gladstone which she did  in the 1964 race, the first Queensland yacht to cruise to Lord Howe. Sold in 1969 to Reginald Hare who cruised and raced her out of Royal Vic winning the West Coaster in 1974. Purchased by us in1996 as a family cruiser we caught the racing bug and enter most of the Queensland ocean races having achieved a couple of second places to Gladstone but never able to replicate her previous success.
